KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AND HIGHLIGHTS
INNOVATIVE DESIGN
Successfully designed large custom 4-sided box culverts measuring: 4.2m span x 4.2m high, 3 units wide x 10 units long, with each unit weighing over 15 tonnes.
The overall size of these culverts was 4.8m x 4.8m x 1.2m high, and they were transported on their sides.
EFFICIENCY
Achieved remarkable speed in both the design and production phases, significantly reducing lead times and expediting project completion.
SEAMLESS DELIVERY
Demonstrated outstanding logistical coordination to ensure timely and hassle-free delivery of the culverts, despite their size and weight.
CHALLENGES OVERCOME
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SPEED.
Overcame the challenge of fast-tracking design and construction processes to meet stringent project deadlines without compromising quality.
OVERSIZE DELIVERY
Effectively managed the complexities of transporting oversized culvert units from Cowra, NSW, to Wellington, NSW, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
KEY METRICS OF SUCCESS
Speed of Design and Production
Rapid development and manufacturing processes demonstrating exceptional efficiency in both phases.
On-Time Delivery
Ensured timely delivery of all components, adhering strictly to the schedule with no deviations, backed by certified engineer designs.
ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS
Precast concrete emerged as the optimal solution for this remote solar farm project in regional NSW. Facing challenges in sourcing the required skills and materials for civil construction, Gransolar depended on our team to transform their in-situ design into a precast solution. This approach not only shortened the project timeline but also resulted in substantial budget savings and reduced overall project risks.
