Haunching Slabs

Civilcast Haunching Slabs are designed to reduce the inlet size of a pit to accommodate a smaller grate or cover at ground level.

This is typically where a large pit is installed to suit larger diameter pipes with the Haunching Slab reducing the inlet at the top of the pit. Risers with a clear opening matching the reduced opening size are used to achieve the required depth.
